Home automation system using Microsoft Kinect
We developed an application that allows individuals to control their home appliances using hand gestures captured by a Microsoft Kinect. This technology is especially useful for physically challenged and senior citizens. Our algorithm utilizes computer vision techniques and an Arduino Uno microcontroller to achieve an accuracy rate of 88%.
An app for multiplexed analysis of disease-specific DNA sequences
Helped with UX of creating a new tool that can quickly detect and identify infectious viruses and microbes that affect both humans and animals. This tool uses a smartphone camera and a small cartridge that holds a microfluidic chip to perform tests on a small sample of body fluid. It can analyze specific DNA sequences for different diseases in just 30 minutes, and the results can be uploaded to a database for epidemiological reporting.

I've made some cool apps for different classes and hackathons! Favorites include a fitness tracker that helps you see how much you work out and what you eat and drink. The other one helps you know what's happening around town, so you never miss a good time!
Escape rooms & design fiction games
In addition to creating phone applications, I have also engaged in the development of intriguing designs such as a board game-inspired escape room and a text-based design fiction game that serves as a learning tool for recursion.
